The shots from the second day were better... I picked a different cove and lined up the exact shot I wanted for sunrise... and just waited. The day before I walked too far and set up in a "so so" spot and then about 100 people came and I couldn't move.
I was surprised, though, how many people set up with their tripods facing east. Like shooting into the sun is ever a good idea when you have foreground elements you want to feature in your photo?

Great shots, and for the record, I'm one of those east facing guys at sunrise

Going back 2 days later was definitely worth it.

But until then, pictures like this will do nicely. Thanks for showing us your shots and nature's beauty.

Nice shot
Only thing was, there were no clouds in the sky, at all, these days. Tough to get a sky like that!
it's all about timing but it's great place to be
Thanks for sharing!
