30th Anniversary - can I get some critique?

My Mom's church celebrated her 30th Anniversary as Organist and Choir Director yesterday and I took some shots of her after the service. I forgot to recharge my flash batteries, so had to settle for my 50/1.4 and available light. How did these turn out? I had a hard time with the WB on them. Thanks.

These are nice. I seriously like the first one and would be tempted to work up to versions of the RAW data, on WB as you have done and the other WB for the pews. Then merge them in PS. I think it really might be worth the effort.

The first is a fantastic "in-context" portrait. Best you can hope for. minor crit is shadow in her left eye. In RAW you should be able to bring that up, or even in PS with some masking.

Composition is perfect: subject is tightly shot, so we get a nice up-close and personal feel, but you still manged to get the 1st degree context of the organ, and beyond that, the 2nd degree context of the church! And all with spot-on DOF...very nicely executed. I'm sure she loves it. If I were you I'd submit it to the local paper!

I agree the first shot is beautiful. Really really nice. Sorry I don't have much RAW experience so no advice on WB from me but I just wanted to say how great #1 is!

Thanks everyone. Sometimes things come together in a good way. If only I had a wider prime. I may give it another shot to match the WB of the background in pic #1 with the foreground.
