Me and some fellow BMW owners met up last fall to go on a drive with the Vermont BMW CCA Chapter. We were instantly hooked and decided on making a group just to drive this route. The route entails about 200 miles of country roads that wind through Eastern New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. The route looks like this...

Well yesterday we met up to do the drive! We included a new portion, Greylock Reservation in North Adams... The day was kind of drab and rainy but I think a few came out nice!

This is actually towards the end of the drive, as we are going through Wilmington/Bennington. This is the road leading up to the monument. It has been routine to stop here and rest and I couldn't resist grabbing pictures of my car with the fall colors.

Now skip over to the middle of the drive, on top of Greylock. The road is narrow all the way up and some people almost got in an accident as we passed them. I bottomed out at least 5 times going up and back down! All 5 of us that showed up own black cars... too funny.

This would be Pete... We were on another drive and I decided to be weird and do this pose and it has since become routine for someone to do it on a drive. haha

The lighthouse ontop of Greylock. Unfortunately it was locked.

This would be the monument I spoke about before... pretty tall!

My car at the top of Greylock. On the left is Snarcher, our funny friend who is just so random. Note the hat and the convertible he drives... yes he had it down for awhile! lol

DISCO CHICKEN! As in my other thread I visited Antrieb on Saturday to help with his car... I snapped some pictures of one of the roosters that had about 50 colors!

You've got a thing for tall monuments...

That looks like a really sweet loop too. Do you get to do the trip
    often?

anyways we usually go about 5-6 times a year 'officially' with random trips in between. I haven't gone in awhile since I moved back home and left Troy.
