    Todd,
Outstanding -- love the two lake reflections, and some of the colors are wonderful. It's not easy with kids in tow -- you did a great job!

    Bodie
    Thanks Michael...(lengthily reply here)

On a side note - I checked out your site and your Bodie work. Fantastic captures.

I was there this past Saturday and when I saw all the photogs there I kinda felt weird to pull my gear out at a spot that is so 'over shot.' Seeing your images tells me that there are still endless possibilities.

Best part was, without my gear, I was able to spend quality time with my boys at a place I think is so amazing thumb.gif

Worst part was...Out of 200 people on a weekend, there were NO other kids. Video games and malls should never top a place like Bodie!

it seam to me that in the Tenaya lake photo the sky is too blue. Do you think it could be the polorizer. In the past I notice the use of too much polorizing is not good for the sky

I have to agree with you vermenton. I have debated this in my head when shooting at high altitudes after fronts have passed through and the sky is already a natural deep blue.

Anyone know if the sunrise or sunset is better at Tenya lake?

this is the one I shot on 10/13/06 Intead of the poloraizer i use a 2 stop soft ND. In the past I did notice during the day time on witney hte use of poloraizer could be destructive on blue sky and i don't know if it's due the elavation but it's does not always work
