Hello, and Merry Christmas to everyone My name is John Peterson
i live in Wichita Ks.

I happened across this forum and decided to join, I enjoy looking at other peoples
photographs and have enjoyed looking at the ones here.

I would like to post some of my photo's but can't figure out how.
would one of you be so kind as to help a newbe out.

    Thank God Cletus chimed in with pic posting instructions. It only took me 2 months to figure out how to do it :lol Hopefully, you're a quicker study than I was....lol

    need help with picture format
    most of my photos are file type png how do i convert to jpg?

    Graphic Converter is in the Applications folder on the MAC and VuePrint ( download from www.hamrick.com) in the Wintel world. Vueprint loads VERY fast and converts easliy. Of course Photoshop CS and Photoshop Elelments also will do this.

    Once you have jpgs stored on a server on the WEB like smugmug


    "url" without the quotation marks will display your image also

    For example [img]http://pathfinder.smugmug.com/photos/6121994-M.jpg[/img} with the correct lower case trailing bracket -->[/img]6121994-M.jpg


    And if you right click on the image and click on properties - you will see the URL displayed
