MX at night, new lens and flash... uhh.
I think I may give up trying to shoot motocross at night. I got a 70-200 2.8L and a 430ex flash last week and went to the races to shoot.
It was hard trying to get a shutter speed over 1/125. I could pick a few spots and get to 1/200, both shooting at max ISO 1600, and if I got close enough they turned out passable to sell small prints. All of those are in the turns though. The AIR shots... ooof. Autofocus was the problemo, mainly. I think the action is too fast to manually focus.
Would panning all the air shots do anything? Suggestions???
