Avocets, herons and Pelicans
Long time no post, so i'm back with a feathered smorgasbord.
Went out stalking with my mighty 200mm to get these fellows. Dragged myself on my belly for 35mins and was happy with the results...not happy with the pockets full of wet sand though. Only chopped off the top of the Avocet shots to get rid of background, no cropping on any pics.
Red Necked Avocets
As they say on sesame street.....One of these birds is not like the others... Well actually two.
Two Eastern Curlews causing havoc among the Avocets
Actually I think they were signalling their mates to come on down
White faced Heron
Pelican

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
