Hi, I was jealous looking at all the wonderful autumnal shots people have been posting so I went down to our local woods, however the autumn foliage hasn't really hit yet in England, save for mostly fallen leaves.

I managed to grab these shots though:-

In the absence of any water in our local woods, I had to make do with a puddle :wink

Ok, I confess, I moved some of the logs:-

Once at the woods I realised I'd forgotten my poloriser, and I really needed it here where I also messed up the exposure. I did my best in PP but the image remains flat:-

Unfortunately the mushrooms are slighly blown here:-

Fortunately I took several exposures of this scene and did a merge to HDR using exposure and gamma:-

This is also a merge to HDR, this time using equalise histogram:-

I hope you like.

First shot is gorgeous Charlie -- and the last merge worked very well. When fall color hits, those will be spectacular -- but I think they're great just as they are!

Thanks for your kind words Michael, I think that's my favourite too, first shot I took, typical.
