    My take on the Rose:

I really like the sharpness and your choice of coloring. Good job. thumb.gif

But, the rose heads on the sides are a bit distracting and the bottom of the main flower was cut off. Might want to reshoot and off-center the main flower a bit. You could even try a different angle rather than straight-on to give some more depth. mwink.gif

    My take on the Rose:

Hi there and Welcome to the Forum :D
I like the colour tones you've applied to your beautiful rose image.

I know people tend to be against centering images, but I do it all the time rolleyes1.gif Don't know why but I can't stop centering my work, thus the naming of this icon after me ---- > :skippy hehehe ..... your image looks fine centered, though I agree with the other response you got to this image about getting the whole flower in the shot.

Keep posting, enjoy the forums ........ Skippy (Australia)

Beautiful rose. Great crispness to this shot. The whites look a little flat and washed out. Unless if this is what you were going for.

There is no white, It's a duotone.

Thank you Awais, I've been to your site and think you do very good work BTW.

the more I get back into photography the more I gravitate to B&W, just like in the old days. mwink.gif
