This is beautiful.....I have been wanting to give this a try, but I haven't quite figured how to get NO other background image in the mirror beside the persons reflection.

I think is a wonderful shot......the only thing that I have to add is that the "furniture" (I think that is was I see in the reflection) is a bit distracting.

    Beautiful girl....beautiful shot!!

This is a beautiful shot! Beautiful girl. The tones here are superb. I really like them. The lighting is also really well done. The one thing that bugs me is that in the reflection the girl is looking away from the middle of the frame. Her eyes are directed to the left into nothingness. Thats just my opinion. I mean it must be hard because your taking a picture of a reflection.

    Well done :D

    I like the concept, but....

For starters- she is almost perfect! I disagree with Gavin and I think that her eyes in the reflection are looking right at me. The ONLY negative I have with her is the thumb. It she had put her thumb flat she would be perfect!thumb.gif

I am sure you see the problems with the background. First of all the shadow and light directly across the chair. Is that a magazine rack behind her and next to the chair? Then there is the odd object up above her and then in the reflection is right next to her head.

I think you should crop the left side closer to the mirror frame and eliminate all the black space on that side.

Since she is your daughter I imagine a reshoot is not out of the question?

Now, if you don't mind- I need to go buy a mirror!

    Thanks Heather!
    Appreciate it Gavin!
    Thanks Jeff!
    I appreciate it Aaron!

The background tears it, next time I will put a black cloth behind. Also will watch the cropping and the hand placement for sure!!!

Thank y'all for taking the time to comment, that is what I needed!!!

Excellent - love the fact the mirror does not reflect you or flashings (if used)....
    Go job! jr

    Hi, wally5656
    Great Photo!
I would crop out the hands at the bottom but, thats about the
    only thing that bugs me.
