Priviet, dear friends!
Want to share with you these:

I haven't chimed in too much on your shots, but I just have to tell you that your skill blows me away. Love all of these shots. You have a way of making everything in a portrait go together. From teh background, to the subject to the "extras" like the umbrella. I hope someday to be able to produce portrait stuff half as good as you do.

Great work, again, as usual!!! thumb.gif

    Yuri,
recently I seldom comment on your photos as they are usual high standard and I doubt you want to hear another "nice" from me.

The second photograph here is way beyond what you usually post. It simply is a classic. BRAVO!

Lovely shots. Portraits that, except for the exceptional skill, look like unposed candids. (Candids by a master?) Really nice work!

    Hi Yuri,

    Long time, friend...

Beautiful portraits... especially like these two. The light is wonderful.

Yuri... Your portraits are normally great but that second one IMO is an absolutely stunning photograph.

    Thanks for sharing...

I really like the soft warm light of the 2nd and 4th image.

I was wondering how you kept the faces from being shadowed by the umbrella's shadow, Yuri? Did you use a reflector to add fill to their faces underneath the umbrellas??

    I have no idea
how you produce such masterful portraits. Your work is impeccible (sp?). The second shot belongs on a front page. Stunning, perfectly balanced with DOF, exposure, compositon, theme, and all the other elements that make a GREAT photograph. Would you be willing to share some of your techniques with us? Wonderful work Yuri.

    Spasibo for your comment.
No reflectors - it was cloudy - the perfect weather for portraits... So there were no direct lights of the sun...

Thank you for calling them 'Lovely shots' :-)
I'm happy to know I've gave you some pleasant seconds of viewing them...
As for my models, they were speachless for some minutes when I presented these 30x45 cm prints to them...
I wish you such 'lovely shots' too !
