Finally, after seeing it in the shop at least once a week when I go in to make a print or two, I took it home with me... Nikon Coolpix SQ, and they threw in 64 more mb's of memory and a packet of free prints at the shop (local Ritz Camera) all for $149!!! I've always thought this would make a sweet pocket cam - it takes CF so I can use all the same cards as my Drebel and same card reader/workflow, its small as heck, i love the slick recharging base, swiveling design unfortunately puts the little canons to shame, and quality of shots is pretty good. I had thought one day I'd get a used one on ebay at some point, but now I got a floor model for less than half what these went for just last year! I'm also really glad that I got to support the local shop, same guy always there making my prints for me.

And in the spirit of xmas, my gf is going to get it. :D

(I just hope she doesn't beat me up, we put a $20 limit on xmas cause she's between jobs and I just took on a mortgage)

I like the idea of being able to carry an extra camera in your mouth.
