Not sure where to post this, am a Pro Acct and its a sales related Q....
I have a client that wants me to shoot his classic/custom motorcycle for submission to a UK Publication, however they require Raw files on DVD/CD
- Now I'm shooting with a Canon 20D (very happy with, also) but have never shot RAW as of yet,
I do have the Canon EOS digital 'solution disc' that alegedly will allow me to download the RAW files (?)
My home system iMac G5 1.6 g 17" w/1.25 gig ram and PS CS,(and recent add. pantone eye one LT - thanks Andy)
(however i do have access to g5 quad w/PS CS2 if need)
I guess my question is a kind of workflow related as to 1)download / 2)?? / 3)burn to DVD my Raw files I'm sure that step '2' is the big unknown can i do minimal processing' and just burn -since raw will be supplied to them they can still adjust/tweek??
any suggestions would be greatly app.:bow
note: the shoot can/will be approx 50-100 images with very similar exposure - should minimize ind. post(?)
Thanks,
rich
(clearly i don't have a clue!:dunno )

insert DVD into your burner on your Mac. Drag files to the icon on desktop wanting the raw implies they will do EVERYTHING so, I wouldn't worry too much. But if you need some help, here's a start:

Andy,
Thanks for the FAST excellent reply,
(and the beg. tutorial:D )
Guess i might as well give it a shot tonite to get my feet wet!
you know in few years when the powers that be look back on this stage of the 'smugmug success story' your involvement will be a major part of that success!
Thanks Again Andy,
rich
