I've been going through some shots from Bryce and I really like the sky in this one but the rest of the shot is pretty boring. Thought I'd throw it up here and see what you all thought.

You even have the smoke above the fire, so that proves that the sky is indeed on fire. mwink.gif

Funny how I seem to have something just like that shot. How can that be?

Nick, you saw something in there that I didn't at all. Now that you mention it, it does look like a fire-ish glow. thumb.gif

I think it's much better cropped Nick
The previous as you stated didn't have much going...albeit the foreground somewhat matched the sky. I like this much better as now the sky seems to be the subject/theme. I hate it when looking at a landscape and think, "man that is such a cool shot" then frame it up and capture...only to look at it later and say, "what was I thinking". I think it's a matter of the 2 dimensional viewpoint of images versus the depth of 3 dimensional human eye and experience.

Lovely colors and there's nothing I can add to your already artistic eye. I think you're a great photographer anyway but thought I'd throw out my 2 cents (besides, that's all I have left after buying all these lenses...Laughing.gif).
