Here's how to shoot football

If you want to know what a good football shot looks like, here's a brief slideshow that gives you an idea.

Things I noticed? Face and eyes (manipulated in post, of course.) And it's impossible to defeat bright sunlight or night stadium lights. Just accept the degradation and get on with it.

    Amazing how much noise these shots have. Most of your images were much better. I'm suprised at the crude nature of the post work that SI finds acceptable.

    I'm surprised, too. I bought a copy this weekend to look over the photos. I was surprised by how crude the Photoshopping was. Lots of blown highlights.
