It's VERY windy today. I have beautiful white puffy clouds in the sky drifting all over. It's a little chilly, but the sound of the rustling leaves on the trees....and the sound of the wind whipping through the already bare branches of some trees if very nice to listen to.
Here are several from about an hour ago. Nikon D200 & Sigma 18-200mm.
Ash tree leaves...
Maple
I played with the colors a little on this one. I believe this one is the hickory tree.
Mostly Maples...
Ash leaves leading up the hill...

Thorn in my side! I pulled this thorn off a Honey Locust tree. Ouch...no climbing that baby!

Here's a few of my prized ornamental grasses from today
This one isn't from today, but I love it too!
Another that's not from today, but again, I really like it!
You always amaze me with your beautiful photos. You must have one heck of a backyard.
Great job -
Thank you! . Yes....it's pretty big
I'm originally from the Cleveland area and really miss fall in Ohio. But living here in Florida does have its advantages, especially in the winter. Anyway, I love the images, especially the wild grass ones. Well done!

hi! very nice pictures!!
Are these photo's also made with the sigma 18-200? i'm planning on buying the Canon XTi with the sigma 18-200 since i'm on a tight budget and spoiled by the KM Z6 versatility..
Hi. Yes I believe most of these, if not all, were with the Sigma 18-200mm. There's also a new Sigma 18-200 coming out soon that has vibration reduction or image stabilization - whatever you want to call it.
but i asume your happy with the lens?
For the price, I am happy with it. I'd be much happier with the Nikon VR version. But overall the Sigma does a good job. It serves it's purpose for me.
