Came across this scene down the street from my house;

from 20 feet away

after approaching to about 10 feet

And that was about as close as I dared to get. Those talons looked mighty sharp!

    The look on him in the second shot says "keep away, this tree rat is all mine!"

    Great captures. thumb.gif

    Great captures Fred thumb.gif

    I think a bit less exposure could give it more detail.

    Thanks for sharing.

    the second shot for me....... but both are good, could do with a little less exposure or a fix in levels or curves

    Be still my foolish heart, Does it get any better than this?

    This is one of the best squirrel pics I have ever seen. rolleyes1.gif The hawk ain't bad either. thumb.gif

    I would also take the exposure down a notch and not center the shots so much.
