I always wanted to take a picture of the Bear Mountain Bridge while the last fog is burning off. I happened to have my camera with me on Friday when I saw this. The geese were an unexpected bonus.

Here is another bridge pic. The fall colors are peak right now along the Hudson River and the mountain. The rest of the Hudson Valley foliage is already past peak.:wink

I shot this in Sept 2004. Its one of my favorite views of the Hudson River. The colors are not as advanced as Fred but I loved the composition. Since I was living in Texas at the time and was just in the NY area for a business trip, I couldn't hang around for the colors to change. View point is from the Route 9W bridge over Popolopen Creek, just north of the traffic circle at the bridge.

Very nice shot from the other side. The BM bridge is part of my normal commute. Sometimes I just have to plan a "time out" and enjoy. mwink.gif
