I will be putting up a lot of images from my past month in the Philippines.

People are just plain friendly. As you can see in the 2 pics above. I like the panorama and would appreciate comments.

Some I shot from moving vehicles so could not take the time to compose properly. In below case I just like the girl's expression (on back) so much that I show it anyway.

I like the little toy in the top one. Makes a statement to me re how inventive children can be, and how little they really need in the way of store toys.

Appropriate thought for this time of year.

I bought my 16 and 17 yr old grandsons yo-yos for Christmas. And marbles for the 7 yr old grandson.

And I am sending Bill back to the store to get me some jacks. It is a very pricey store, but they have really cheap toys, and they gift wrap.

But I really do like that toy the boy has in that photo. I should print it out, in case any of my recipients complain.

ginger (now having said that, I can't wait to get the money together to get a 20D, and then it will be lens fever. This is not going to go away, I can see that now. I am already thinking of keeping my Rebel to keep a long lens on it, in case. I will need a baby stroller for my equipment pretty soon. Or I will be a homeless old woman pushing a supermarket cart with my worldly possessions: cameras, lenses, tripods, etc.)

I am thirsty, think I will get a can of diet coke.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

    Charles,
I love your nice, clean images!
You were probably *very* concentrated on the people's expressions when you went out with the camera: the pictures certainly show that!

    Thanks so much for sharing!
    Take care!
