    I go for the first one, and would crop heavily on the top, to get a more elongated composition, leaving all that negative space on the left (percertage of it will be biger if you crop).
    In my opinion, this type of image does not need to be tack sharp, they are all about composition and this is a winner.
    And get rid of that little distraction attached to the bird, The other one is fine, balances the comp.

    To give my honest opinion, I don't mind the cut wings, but the feet missing look kind of akward and the clipped tail too. Plus he's going away without a head turn your way, so this one would need another try.:cry
    And remember, cut, don't clip!
