    Normally, I'd say the elbow was distracting. In this shot however, I think it
    adds to the shot in this instance. You see pass and the elbow that give you
    a real sense of the play.

    I like the shot.

    Thanks dbaker. Canon 20D, Canon 70-200, ISO 1600, at 1/750 at 2.8.

    Again thanks ... personally I like tossing in an appendage or two in sports shots as a reminder that there is an entire team out there trying to stop the 'attacker' from scoring.

    Nice, I played water polo for 6 years and also spent a bit of time taking pictures of the game and know its hard to get anything out of the ordinary. i personally feel that the arm in the foreground is an distraction to an otherwise very good picture.
