a year after my first shoot with casey, she's in front of my lens again. i'm not very happy with the shoot today because we started too late and had zero light to work with. stupid daylight savings messed me up.

i had to get at least one onto dgrin before i went to bed. please tell me what you think!

I think the pose is very nice, plus the light's a very good idea thumb.gif
    I like it mwink.gif

Meanwhile, I do think the contrast is a little bit too strong, like it lacks details here & there. What did you use to lit the scene?

i like the positioning of the fence in relation to her. it gives this shot a nice sense of flow esp. with how she's posed. thumb.gif

thanks for the comments! i agree, it might be too much contrast, i thought i'd roll the dice and go with a little more contrast than i'm used to.

i want to see if anyone know's what technique i used to light this scene.

more comments would be greatly appreciated. i'll post more soon.

    Very Nice!
You may not have had much light to work with, but you handled it very well. I like her pose, and your overall composition. Although I like the fence in the background, I might have cropped some off from the right, positioning her off-center, but just MHO.

    Nice work.

I like this one. #3 and #4 above are not flattering at all. The first one is good also...may want to try different shadow/highlight settings and see if you can open the shadows up a bit.

There all nice pictures. First one love you you gave some depth and lithed that fence in the background. very pleasing to the eye. The WB seems weird on the girl though? Too red? but that might be my monitor

#2 is my favorite, and #5... Looks like she could have a pretty smile hidden in there somewhere!

I also like #1, but think it lacks a bit of detail on the left side behind her.

    Wow, Great Photos!
You did a great job with the light sounce in the first photo.
I wam surprised it did not light up more of the background.

the first thing that caught my eye about the latter shots was the way her sweater seemed to match the green water and the darker green foliage. thumb.gif

i agree, and i'm consider the options for extending the fence on the left side or making it more visible. the lack of detail on the left in that one bothers me a little.
