Went out again today to check out the development of this ring of fungus. It develops and dies quickly and much of the ring was begining to die.

The light was dim and I was hand holding so bumped up ASA to 1000 to see what the results would be like. I quite like the gritty effect whilst the sharpness has be maintained. Kodak DCS620 with Nikkor 35-105 zoom (2MP).Any comments welcome.

Good work on a difficult expsoure a bit OE but it looks like very difficult lighting. I would try again at a time w/o such harsh lighting.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Dick.

    Thanks Dick
They came out well considering the ASA of 1000, again they look fine on my screen at home, which is cllibrated OK but on various other screens that I have viewed them on they appear OE, strange I can't explain it. Thanks again for your comments. Ian thumb.gif

Did a little work on this image, changed WB and 10% saturation increase plus a little judicious burning in. What do you think and improvemnt or not ?? ne_nau.gif
