Does it carry the message? What do you think?

I think it's a good system, but the overall image shows "too much"; i.e., there is nothing in the picture that appears to be a focal point of the image. But, that is just my simple opinion.
Perhaps a different crop. For example, leave off most of the image to the right and bottom of the lower train. Crop just above the right-to-left cable on the bottom. See how that looks.

What seems to bug me is that it's flat, everything is in the same tone.
Did you try to play with contrast and brightness a little?
To answer Granit's question,
yes I did only a very brief
b&w conversion here, a point
that needs to be worked on
before the challenge closes.

I just found out that I can't post the pic above in the challenge because it
didn't fit into the challenges time when the picture has to be taken. I had
to do a reshoot. Impossible to get the same position of the train .. but I
hope it will still work:

But the way the image is done does not convince me it is done to shout "system". Trees and hills don't matter. Just a suggestion... bij getting as close as possible and focussing on the wireholders in the lower left side, making that much bigger in relation to the background with rails (half in focus) and a part of a train (almost out of focus but still recognisable). (I don't know if this is possible, though...) Good Luck!
