    Ginger,

Are you talking about uploading to Fred Miranda?

I think there's a delay between when you set up your account and when you can start uploading. Read the fine print.

You don't have to subscribe to upload...just cut your image's address from Smugmg and paste in into an FM message...I do it all the time...

What size do you paste in?

I am already out the 20.00 for the web thing, thought it would be easy, and since, well, it was my present to me...........

I have left a message on a forum there, too.

    ginger

you can link any photo in your smugmug gallery you like, into a message on fred miranda

the way you do it is a little different than here

you simply grab the photo file name from smugmug using the "share with friends and forums" feature

and you paste it into the message window on fred miranda

    http://williams.smugmug.com/photos/2565090-L.jpg

    you don't use the thingies

Thanks, for the info, Andy. I had some trouble figuring out what the word "file" meant to you. I have had trouble with that word since I discovered that Bill meant he was reading his mail.

Anyway, there were only so many numbers I could try, and I did. Finally, it worked!!!! And I did try all sizes. medium usually appears best, but I did large, too.

I put some Christmas ballet photos up under the people thread. Then I put a couple of landscapes under the best of the year, or favorites, or something.

I put the Shem Creek shrimp boat with the Winter Solstice on it, and I put the dune's fence that I won with last year.

I am going to get that money back! Don't know how, but I am.

Thanks all who helped, and who tried to help.
