Sound System is a cool idea, as is surveillance system.
But I think you need more of sound system / surveillance
system in the pictures to make'em say system out loud.

I like the minimalist style (and stylishness) and the lighting of your photographs a lot. However, the light picture doesn't say system at all to me. For the challenge, I agree with Manfr3d's comments. The sound system and security system ideas are really great. However, for me, one speaker does not a system make. And I thought that the picture of the security equipment was simply a photo of a lamp on a wall. Even if I had understood it, one piece of equipment doesn't represent a system to me. You have some excellent ideas for this challenge, which is going to be really hard. Good luck!!

I like the ideas, especially since I had the sound system as an idea as well. I agree with Virginia and Manfr3d. Though the speaker is a great shot, one speaker does not represent a system.
This is going to be an interesting challenge!

Here are three ideas I came up with. Please give me some comments on these.
Light System
Speaker/Stereo System
Security System
I can see some system in your 'light system', that is, in the way you cropped the image. all 3 images make me think "thing" or something like that. the systems you think of are very interesting, good luck!

Bland? I prefer simplistic. It's a style like a single tree on a hilltop.
I like them. Perhaps it's a bit of a stretch to call them systems, but the important thing is to end up with a good image.
Cheers,
