Some takes of this fast moving bird, all taken at Fort Desoto Park, FLorida's West Coast. Canon 1d2, 500/4, all with teleconverters. Motion blur was intentional.

Nice set as usual Fabs!thumb.gif Would have preferred a little more fill light on the last one. Right now it's competing with the white border. The first two work nicely with the border. The second is my favorite I like the pose of the bird on its toes leaning slightly forward.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

You sure have a creative eye Fabs. I love the first two, especially the second. The soft overcast light is lovely. Were you panning with that first shot or did you just time the takeoff correctly and have the camera stationary?

I don't remember, but I probably panned with the Wimberly head, since they shake a little off where they were bathing.

    Thanks all!!!

I just love the background on the second one, it's amazing. Complements the motion blur of the feathers perfectly. Super shots, Fabulous!
