Online film processing (C-41)

Does anyone know of or use an online place to develop C-41 film? These are pics of my m-sickle trips and family stuff we're talking about here. Strictly for personal viewing, but I still want better quality than the local Wally world can provide.

It looks like Mpix offers this, and HP's snapfish. Has anyone ever used either of these? If so, how were the results of the negatives and the scans? What hidden costs are there?

If anyone has used someplace else and liked it or disliked it please let me know!

TIA!

Collegs Station doesn't have a processing house? It is a realitively large city with a world reknown college. You may check with the photo dept at A&M also.

What photo department? This is an Ag and enginerring school. The arts are not well represented here. We have a Ritz camera store that is uh.... well you know. I took them three rolls of film and asked for digital scans and 3x5 prints. I walked out 50 bucks poorer!eek7.gif Plus the scans were awful. Last time I go there for prints. Not to mention they don't stock any good film.

We used to have several decent camera stores here about 10 years ago. None have survived....

Yeah, Ritz's pretty much stink at photo development...though oddly enough this seems to be a recent phenomenon (last 3-4 years). I've heard the A&I mailers B&H sells are good. You might want to try asking on www.photo.net for a good lab in your area/mailer services. There are a lot of film shooters there. I use Penn Camera (in the DC area only, I don't know if they do mailing services) and they're pretty decent.
