Given the international nature of contributors to Dgrin I thought it might be interesting if Dgrinners posted a shot of the street where they live, just to see how diverse they are.

Anyway I'll kick things off with this pano I cobbled together earlier:-

G'dat malte..that was about 2 weeks ago & most of the purple flowers are now on the roads. We have plenty of volvos thats for sure.

Temps are just nice atm but im in QLD so days are about 24-28C & nights are 17-19C

Where are you visiting ?

Here's a pano I shot last year from my terrace. The monster in the middle is the Royal Theater, also known as the Opera. It is all nearer than it looks .

True dat, Dee. Although I think the tops of the mountains will still be visible even with houses on the street. There are only single-story houses allowed in this part of town for just that reason.

The good news is that the backyard view ain't too shabby either, and it will probably stay like this.

Yeah, there's a road behind the privacy wall. But that's better than having other lots right there.

Mate if im about..no worries. I'd be more than happy to show you some great spots to photograph around here.

We have a lot to see here like the rain forests ..mountains..& pretty good surf. Always something to go & watch.

That would make for an interesting casino. I can imagine it now: there would be the fancy restaurant run by starbucks, all the waitresses would wear grunge theme outfits (flannel shirt and ripped jeans), there could be a monorail roller coaster ride, and a giant "win bill's billions" slot machine.
