Nov. in Mn.
Grey skies are the norm, and inspiration is at an all time low.
Fortunately, I have the camera talk group to help me out.
Grimace drags me around the back roads for photo op's.
We go to a farm that has buffalo on it.
Adam had talked to the owner last spring about
getting some shots of the buffalo. She let us drive
into the area where the buffalo were to take some pics.
Our only instructions were to NOT leave the truck.
After watching a few of the bigger guys running around,
leaving the truck was the last thing on my mind.
I think I came away with a couple of good shots.
By the afternoon, the clouds did break for a while.
When it did, I managed to get this Immature eagle.
As always, thanks for looking.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Ramblings About Me
I stood in line for over an hour to vote, first time ever a wait that long where I vote. I was sore and tired.......felt very old, when
I noticed a raptor, figured it was a vulture, it landed on top of a pole, it was a RTH, which I IDd only through shape size and approximate color in the waning light........................and across a 4 lane highway with no chance of stopping. I thought that capped my day, smile!
Your shots are cool. Sun is supposed to come out late today. I figure to try for some birds the remainder of the week. WE don't have many (I don't know where that hawk came from). Ducks should show up soon!!!

Thanks guys.
The short answer is yes, west of the cities, but Adam was driving. and I just
don't pay much attention when someone else is driving.
The good news is the skies cleared up a bit today, so I went out with my
latest lens, a Tamron 17-50 f2.8.
Of course I goofed up the camera settings, had the Sat. and Contrast set
up to high, but I think I still got a few good ones. I shot just about all the
shots at f2.8 just because. I wanted to see what it could do. I think it's a winner.
I tried to save this shot, I'm not sure that I did. The edges of the water were very
dark from the setting suns shadows .
and lets throw in the pet Wookie.
Thanks again.
