Trying a new technique

It's been a while since I've been on here, too much working, not enough playing. I hope this is the right place to post this image, have been trying to learn some new ways to processes my images and found a great tut on the "Orton" effect. Would like to know if this image is a good one for this and comments are always welcome. Thanks.

I liked it nice effect but it is so soft for a photo but effect is great as Abstract or Art work
