Finally we are getting some rain:barb

I love storm season. I haven't really had much success but I got this one from my back deck tonight. :ivar:ivar

    Hey Skippy. Since eh 1st of November we have had over 80mm. Nowhere near what need of course but man is it nice to have rain for once!

    Those clouds are imposing. For me, they steal the shot from the lightning. Very nice capture!

    Thanks Chris and Ian. The clouds were a bit of a suprise to me as all I could see was black...Until a flash of course, but they never stayed long enough to notice all that detail. Think the wavy patterns coming down between the top of the bolt and the darker ones is rain.

    Yeah they were everywhere today. We had golfball sized hail for a few minutes. I was glad it didn't stick around long.:uhoh

    looks like that could fit in the challenge 77 as a "Storm System" :) Very nice. I might get hit by lightning before I get a shot like that.
