    I dont want to but... I have the EF-S 17-55 IS so i was thinking to sell the 50 to help justify the high price of the 17-55 IS whick I like a lot!

    BTW, I never make good decisions...

    I did the exact same thing. Then I started missing the low light capabilities of the 50 though so I bought it a second time...then traded it away for a flash. Now I miss it again. Maybe I'll just get the 1.8 this time so I wont have to worry about spending too much.
