Hey: Don't you know I am trying to take your photo!?!

I love these little birds. I bet I saw 50 of them today, the most ever. Unfortunetly most were from the car at 70mph!

These goofy guys were everywhere as well:

Kingfishers are the most evil of all the birds. They know exactly what to do to ruin the shot. The 3rd shot is an anhinga, a much more cooperative bird. Love the fisherman shot.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I have to admit, I was cruising across alligaor alley in Florida on the way to a meeting. I kept seeing Kingfishers on the wires about every 4 support poles.

I knew if I didnt try and capture one, I would be upset.

I saw two together, slammed on the brakes, pulled over, opened the sunroof, and shot through the roof for about 6 shots until they left.

    Skittish little devils......

Yes, Rebel XT and the Canon 70-200f4L lens. I like the set up. But, I'll probably pop for the 40D when it comes out. I've been looking at Windoze's 5D ( but I would miss the crop factor!)mwink.gif
