I took these this morning at Symantec. I wanted to take a variety of shots but the Rent-A-Cop ran me off before I had a chance.

I really wish I had. He rolled up on a Segway scooter thing. He was a baby faced 19 year old kid. He tried for the intimidating man with a badge thing but it really wasn't working for him.

I pulled my gear out to the sidewalk and set up for another shot and he came over and tried to grab my camera. It was pretty funny stuff. I stayed pretty calm, but told him "touch the camera, get a broken wrist". He just melted. It's not like I am some huge guy or got really pissy. But It was just going to get ugly if I stayed, so I just packed up and left. He looked like I hurt his feelings. I thought he might actually cry (really strange).

By contrast, I tool a bunch of pictures at the new Federal Courthouse without issue. As a matter of fact one of the guys from the Marshall’s Service came over to talk shop with me.

Thanks for the compliment on the picture. The are the first pictures outside of soccer that I have taken with the camera. Talk about instant gratification! Sure not like the old days waiting for my film to come back.

I love the contrast and composition in the 2nd b&w. Funny story too.

Those shots confirm what I've always thought about Symantec-- soulless drudgery in the spirit of Innertech or Penetrode (a la Office Space: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0151804/)
