I have been having this issue since yesterday afternoon....

I get this error message:

"java.io.IOException: Input/output error"

I have tried with both Safari and FF, and I get the same error. PLEASE Help!

My gallery is http://perfectpix.smugmug.com/gallery/2119107 that I am trying to add pictures too.

    Hi Mike,

    Which uploader are you using?

I am using the Java bulk uploader. It acts like it should, I get the trust or not warning, then I drop the pictures in. The upload status box pops up, and then it sits for a while.... Eventually I get a blue bar, but it only makes it too 1200K or so, then I get the error box.

Hi, sorry you are having troubles.

Sounds like you have a connection issue. I'd recommend doing the line quality test at http://www.dslreports.com/linequality it's a free test, but you must register (also free). Please share the results.

I can't do that one at the moment... I have Vonage phone service, and the wife is on the phone. If I disconnect my router (mandatory for test right?) she loses her call, and I sleep on the couch....

I don't think it is the line Andy, I was able to upload an image from my Notebook.

    http://perfectpix.smugmug.com/gallery/2124853

That was just a quick test over a wireless connection. My main computer is a MacPro, is there anything else I could try?

I am going to clear cookies and such right now.

    Weird....

I deleted the "problem gallery" and created a new one. The images are loading now....

I wonder what caused that gallery to be such a PITA. Maybe because I had a brief power outage while I was loading pictures?

The upload stopped in the same place as before. I skipped the next image, and resumed the upload. It must be a corrupt file.

    My bad....

That is not mandatory for the test :D Please run the test and let us know what the results are, thanks.
