After I post these pictures I saw that at least the one on the left is rather red/yellow. You know... that cast business.
I re-treated the photo. Will you please tell me about this please ? ne_nau.gif
    Thank you. thumb.gif
I re-post the 1.st to compare side by side.
I bought a CPF on friday. From Rodenstock which was expensive.
We can see the results of using this filter are obvious.
The lens is 24-70 f/2.8 with a 20 D or the other way arround :smooch

Stunning shots, Antonio! Really, really nice! The colors are better in your 2nd attempt. That is really a beautiful area. I am thinking that I would perhaps clone out the figure 8 on the tree. It is more than a little distracting and keeps pulling my eyes away from the rest of the scene which is so beautiful. thumb.gif

    Well done.

I like the second better and would clone out the 8 as well.

    Thank you everybody !

It is curious because this was shot in a hurry and from the top of a wagon which was carrying many people and from where we could not move.

Just in case: shoot and see the results later. Sometimes you get a good picture. Sometimes you don't. But we have to try.
This procedure pays off because sometimes we get very good pictures.

I was lucky to have the CPF correctly oriented and that the shot is so good.
As you suggested, I have cloned the number.
I never make 2 photos alike. I mean exactly like the other I have done before. I don't save the settings for each shot.eek7.gif
This is the reason why this photo is not exactly as the other is in terms of colours, crop and so on.

Hope you like it better this way.
Thank you for the comments. I do like to receive them from you.
    Have a nice week end.

The other shot was better than this because here I think there is a blue cast. Am I wrong ? I must try again.
The shot on the right was supposed to correct the blue cast and came out with a yellow/red one ne_nau.gif

I think the upper image here ( shown to the left ) is just a little more green than the other one, Antonio.

If it were my shot, I would clone out the twigs from the tree that drop down to the top of the castle - I would prefer a nice rim of blue sky there myself, and make this image even more over the top!

    Thank you Pathfinder.

If you look carefully you will see that the trees over the little castle are in the background, far away. eek7.gif

I thought as you when I was croping the picture.

By over the top you mean even with more colour density I suppose.

Thank you for the comment. thumb.gif
