Treasure

Yesterday my girlfriend, Treasure, and I got together and had a warmup photoshoot. I have posted before that I have been trying to get good shots of her and I really like this set, despite missing the fall colors. We decided not to dress her up a lot because since she is growing out her hair it has to be braided and so you can not do a lot with it, plus we only had about an hour to get ready. We walked around the park and as I got an idea I'd just tell her to stop... It worked out great and she was very willing (always a plus). Anyways, hope you like!

All were taking with XTi with the 50mm. Full Exif data can be found on their links.

These are really great overall! Pretty girl in some fun poses.

I'd love to see several of the poses redone with nicer clothes - something more appropriate for the pose. Like leaning against the rock pulling on her sweatshirt - I'm too distracted by the comfy clothes and think something a bit nicer or even sexier would be more appropriate.

I think you may want to be more consistant with where you are taking the shot from relative to her. Some of them are too low and others are too high. When you take photos, most of the time you want to have the camera at about shoulder height - or about there. Several are taken above her head without being a high shot and others are taken from her belly level. Changing heights is good, but make sure it's deliberate and not because you aren't paying attention to where you are.

My favorites are #1 and #5 (what a pretty smile! she needs to do taht more!). I don't really like #8 as I dont' think it's as flattering.

I can't wait to see what you do with her when she has nicer clothes for these types of poses and her hair is all done! I'm going to bet they'll be really wonderful! :D

Thank you for the kind words! I am bringing her to buy her a nice dress this upcoming Saturday... should be fun. I think the next shoot won't be until after her hair has grown a bit and the braids are gone... We shall see though.

Thanks again... (she says thanks too!)
