Got rid of the smudge by using the other shot in the stereo pair - think it might have been a falling leaf
Object in the lower left is a birdbath.
Effect was just an inversion then change hue all the way to the left.
Doesn't really work for me, but then I can't really say why. You get points though for trying something a little different
I always like playing with shots especially where the original seems not to pop. In this case I was amazed at how much it looked like a watercolour painting without resorting to the artistic effects in PS.
