Anyone try this accessory out yet (or see it in action? I carry my D70s with me all the time in the car. Seems like it might be a good idea.

And from the pics, it looks like I can keep my Camdapter Handstrap (thanks for Andy's review - great product) w/bogen plate still attached.

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

That looks awesome! I am still in the paranoid phase of putting my new 30 D body down on any hard surface for fear of marring it's pristine condition - that armour would certainly help.

Gee... no Armour for a D50...

Yet another reason to upgrade to a D70s rolleyes1.gif

(Though it looks like a pretty good deal for $50.)

C'mon guys. Your camera is just a tool you use to take pictures. Why baby the thing and worry about scratches on the body? Most DSLRs are pretty rugged and will handle normal day to day abuse without any problems.

I doubt this "armor" will offer you any protection if you abuse or drop your camera.

Looks uber-annoying. Speck products makes a skin for my Motorola Q smartphone and ipod and what have you. I found it to be obnoxious on my Q, I can't even imagine on my camera. Besides...I burn 600-1200 frames a weekend with a bracket on the camera and I have calluses where the blisters used to form, that looks like a super blister maker. Don't drop your camera, don't trip over your camera, don't let your children handle your camera (they have their own), don't leave your camera on the top of your car, in short don't abuse your camera, and don't sweat it when it takes a little knock, it can handle it.
