The league championship games were played on Saturday. The kids got to play in a high school stadium. They also had a PA announcer, marching band, player introductions, the whole deal. Pretty cool. Here are a few of the first shots from the day......Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Great job on capturing the facial expressions and the images look awesome from a focus/framing perspective. If they were my kids I'd have my wallet open for sure!

What kind of gear were you using for these?

I have to agree w/ every one. These are outstanding and some of the best football shots I've seen here. The tight crops work very well and you did a great job of capturing the faces and expressionsthumb.gif

During my brief stint at youth football, the guy who ran the business gave me several pointers on how to capture football correctly. Tight crops, slight over-exposure, lots of background blur, good shadow detail, faces faces faces. You have nailed it. Very well done.

These are exceptional. How can you get so close to their faces - long glass?

    Great work!
