Hi y'all,

I thought I would introduce some of the locals for those coming down to the MI IV shoot and show those of you who aren't coming what you'll be missing. :wink

The Viera Wetlands are a pretty place to shoot

The red shouldered hawk is around every day

The GBHs are always ready to pose for close-ups

The great egrets are usually pretty good about providing flight shot ops

even the devil bird, aka kingfisher, has started to cooperate

little blue herons are plentiful

anhingas are always willing to give you that unusual pose

our night heron drought is over as we have a good number of black crowned night herons hanging out

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Dick.

Thanks Dick. The 500mm F/4 is wonderful lens but I only used it for the hawk and the kingfisher shots. The other birds were with my 300mm F/4 and my now sold D2Hs. The landscape was with the D2X and the 17-35 2.8
