Does writing metadata in Mediapro effect image quality?

I have done a bit of research and decided that I am going to use MediaPro to annotate my photos. Will this effect the graphic image in anyway if I write it to the original? There is some editing software that does write metadata, but in the proccess of saving these changes the graphic image is changed.

Simple question, but one which I couldn't answer after a lengthy search.

It does not, in any way, affect image quality.

Thanks for the fast reply. I was 95% sure that that was the case. I had to make sure thou before I made some major changes.
