dancing the tango!!! Okay maybe I've had a few :1drink , but haven't you ever just had a spontaneous feeling come over you? Yes, this is a frivolous thread. Hope you enjoy it. :D

    So, I hate dancing. Just don't care for it. But does my wife care? No. She dragged me out to Tango lessons a year or so ago. I learned some interesting facts.

    The tango is a dance that the gauchos would dance with their ladies after weeks out on the range. They'd come back all stinky. The dance is based around that. The rose is in her mouth to help ward off the odor. And the dance itself--she is constantly moving away, and he is drawing her closer.

    It's all about the stink.

    I feel like...
    uploading pics from the weekend. But I'm sleepy.



    Ha! I barely expected any replies... :D

    And Ivar, I honestly don't remember how many, lol rolleyes1.gif

    So anyways, I just got back from this thing in West Palm Beach. Camping, shooting balloons with arrows, as well as shooting a large variety of guns = lots of fun and hopefully some decent pics!

    I'll have to tell my wife that. She keeps wanting me to learn (ch'yeah right...and monkeys might fly out of my butt). She got as far as me learning a bit of swing, but that's it. I keep telling her I picked up the camera to photograph dancers, since I can't. I always go back to the old Remo Williams quote from Chun: "you move like a yak with two club left feet!"

    Hmmm, women and guns, I shoulda been there.

    Then again, women with guns, maybe I was safer at home (then again judging from the looks I was getting at home, maybe I shoulda worked all weekend).
