    I don't use a polrizer except for outdoor shots. For aquarium shots I place the hood directly against the glass to help cut down on refraction and reflection. The rest is just LAB adjustment in post.

    I saw somewhere that there was a soft rubber hood that is used for aeriel pics that can be sealed up to the glass in a plane. I bet it'd work sweet for aquarium shots.
