silhouette challenge Q

hey all,

quick question: how much ps editing is allowed on these pictures? my main worry is altering the contrast on a silhouette challenge submission.

    you can photoshop till you're blue in the face thumb.gif

    (if a challenge is a no-photoshop challenge, it will be specifically denoted)
