I was trying out my Canon 70-300is after it came back from the repair center.
I had the landscape/portrait issue fixed. It works better now, but I have to run it though a test today to make sure.
Camera: Canon XTi
F32, 1/2 of a second, ISO 100, 70mm, Handheld.

Did you use any filters to tone down the arc? Exif says F/32 1/2 sec

Wow Dave, that is a Great Shot and so clear considering how much light that Arch welder must be throwing off too .......way to go Dave!
Good luck with your tests, hope all turns out well for you.

No filters were used while taking this shot. (I forgot to bring them)
I have tried to shoot some shots with a welding hood in front of the camera,
but they always came out to dark.
The first shot is is a form of welding known as wirefeed.
This is another welding shot but this time it's TIG welding.
Taken with a Sony P10 camera.
