These are all nice shots. You've got a face, some action and haven't hacked off
any limbs #2 & #5 are the strongest of the bunch. My only other comment
is that they seem a bit over exposed (OE). Did you try and recover too much
or was the exposure set to +EC?

Do you know the swimmer? Tell her to tilt her head back more in the backstroke. If this is high school the season just started though. She also needs more forward reach in free, but I'm sure she's just tired at the end of the IM. (My favorite event from the good old days!)
Oh, I'm sure you didn't want a swimming C&C. So, I think they are a tad over exposed, but I know what it's like in those pools and I think they look great!! What kind of settings did you use? Also, whatever is on her left forearm that you can see in the second 25m of backstroke is kinda distracting. I'm not talented at PS, but I think that could be cloned out? Really nice job on the timing of each shot too.
I shot with a 20D and sigma 70-200 2.8. Shot in manual mode, ISO 1600, 1/500 and 4.0. It was held in a college natatorium so lighting was incredible. I agree they're a bit overexposed but swimming is pretty uncommon for me to shoot and never shot in lighting this good before
The swimmer is a daughter of a friend from work - shes only in 7th grade and in her 2nd year of swimming so she's still improving the technical part - she's a born athlete, so now she's starting to run into some problems as she has to improve the technical aspect of her strokes.
As I don't know a darn thing about competitive swimming (from a technical side) I'll refrain from passing on the critique
Still, thanks for pointing it out - I would appreciate that type of feedback if I knew her better so I don't mind it at all.
