Ya know? I nearly splashed a few drops on the treadmill then thought better of it.. trust you to notice..
p.s. wasn't you who noticed the water stains on the chrome on my sink shot?
Hummm, great idea, I wonder if the left is a little to flat, or maybe more contrast?
Man I really need to get some ideas here...I may have one, time will tell :-) So how do you get a 4 year old to stand still for a long exposure???? Oh I think I got me an idea. :-) THANKS Lynn!

thanks for responding Bryan yes.. maybe the left is a bit flat.. hmmm I'll have to work on that..
Good shot... definitely does not look flat to me. My only complaint is the light area along the right edge of the picture. For some reason it grabs my eye.
thanks cletus and judy ... I wondered if it was...I'll fix it..
Is this any better???
You're a beautician too?? I never knew. Are there some water spots on your scissors????
Gotcha didn't I??!!
Joking aside I think this is a very good idea Lynn, and one that is useable for many of us - that is a first person of us at work in some task.[/QUOTE]
I was a hair stylist for about 10 minutes after I left school in England a hundred years ago.. I've been with husband of lynnma since I was 11 so him still thinks I can cut hair.. and no... there are no spots on my scissors and the hair on his shoulders is real..
I like this one Lynn, better then the other. It's a great shot. My wifes cousin was trying to show me something similar yesterday but she just couldn't catch it. IMO you did.
The bubbles in the water are great!!! It is hard to say which is better, they are two totally different subjects, but I think I like this one a little more

Thanks imax.. I did a black and white version but I don't like it as much..

thanks judy... I'm wondering if I should tone down the chrome to the back left.. it looks wrong completely blacked out but it may be distracting..

i like this idea. movement, bw, the high contrast sort of works. i betcha you can do better, even!
i wasn't thinking self-portraits, just so everyone knows - but this idea is just what i was thinking about.

I do like it, really, don't know how you can do better. Maybe it is the start of greatness.

Incidentally, I love the way you are doing your nails. Understated, but very nice.

I agree with Nir, both are nice but the orange one is great.
