Screams in the Night

over the last few weeks late at night my wife and I have been wakend by terrible screams from back behind our house.....
we have not been able to figure out why and what are causing these screams... they are screams that sound like wounded children in agony !
Today at midday i heard them. I was already outside. I saw two racoons ( to this day, I have never seen racoons in the wild ) way up high in some dead trees fighting, at first i thought they were bears....
I wanted to get a picture but the sun was directly behind the trees where the racoons were so, I thought to overexpose or else the pics would be too dark. I set the EC to as far + as I could. This racoon was way up in a tree and very far away from where i was taking the image. I HAD TO REALLY CROP THE IMAGE TO GET THE RACOON TO SHOW UP. Well the pic i took suffers in many aspects but i did get it and I got it becasue I knew to overexpose racoon and thats something i learned in this forum......

I think it came out very nice Troy. I didn't know Racoon's are that noisy.

Nice shot Troy, the exposure is great. I have a good friend who has racoons in their neighborhood. She said when they fight it sounds exactly like grown women screaming. She said it is "just awful!" I guess their fights are pretty vicious, too!
